What she’s looking forward to the most this year: “Meeting new people and experiencing the new cultures in each city I get to visit!”

Shannon Carr

What she’s looking forward to the most this year: “Besides being thrilled to just see how other chapter’s experiences differ from my own, I’m really excited to see some sorority houses since my chapter just had an ADPi hall in a dorm!”
Fun fact: “I have a black belt in karate! I never really had a choice; my dad taught Karate for around 15 years and I started at 3 years old!”

What she’s looking forward to the most this year: “What I am looking forward to the most is getting to hear different Alpha Delta Pi stories – what made women choose Alpha Delta Pi, what made them stay, those “ADPi moments” people have. Even thinking about hearing those stories makes me more excited to get on the road, and I cannot wait to get inspired.”
Fun fact: “I was lucky enough this year to get to speak at my University’s Commencement Ceremony! It was one of the most amazing experiences I have had!”

What she’s looking forward to the most this year: “I’m most looking forward to seeing different parts of the country and sharing my love of this sisterhood with all of the sisters I meet!”
Fun fact: “I was a VERY chubby baby, and right before I turned one, I broke my own leg just by sitting on it.”

What she’s looking forward to the most this year: “I’m looking forward to pouring out all my love, energy, and ADPi pizzazz in service to the women who are building the next generation of our sisterhood!”

Colyn True

Positions held: Recording Secretary, Formal Recruitment Chair, and several committees
What she’s looking forward to the most this year: “There are countless aspects of this position I am eager to experience (i.e. traveling, growing closer to my fellow Leadership Consultants, the unparalleled opportunity for personal growth, etc.) but more than anything else, I yearn to connect and build relationships with collegiate members. For me, college was a total roller coaster and Alpha Delta Pi was my refuge. I hope to use my experience, skills, and talents to encourage and empower my sisters as individuals and ideally through that ignite the same passion and love I possess for this sisterhood.”
