The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation Scholarship Application is officially open for the 2017-2018 academic year! But why should you apply?
- The application is online again this year! SmarterSelect, our website housing all applications, is extremely easy to use. You don’t have to finish your application in one sitting. Start it now and keep working on it! Everything is due March 1, 2017.
- Last year was the second time we awarded more than $100,000 in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education scholarships.
- The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation has more than 85 scholarships they are awarding this year! Some of them are chapter specific – so if your school has a scholarship, there is no excuse for you not applying. Last year 2 scholarships could not be awarded because there were no applicants from those chapters.
- Our scholarships award up to $3,000!
- The application is very straightforward and easy to complete.
What is new this year?
- Sisters are less likely to feel or express gratitude where they give their most time. It’s not that members don’t crave appreciation, both giving and receiving. When a sister hears thank you, it makes them feel competent and motivated. Saying thank you to your sisters makes them feel happier and more fulfilled on any given day.
- You are able to upload an unofficial transcript in place of the official transcript – making it even easier to apply. If you receive an award, we ask that you will then request an official transcript.
- We have broadened the requirements on who can write you an Alpha Delta Pi letter of reference.
- We have switched the essay prompts. The Scholarship Committee wants to see how creative you can be!
