Seniors

It’s Not Just 4 Years

Congratulations on becoming the newest member of our Alpha Delta Pi alumnae family! This is an exciting time in your life as you embark on your adventure as a new college graduate. You join a powerful network of women with more than 200,000 Alpha Delta Pi alumnae living around the world. We are thrilled to welcome you to this next phase of Alpha Delta Pi membership!

There are many ways you can stay involved and benefit as an alumna member. You will find that now, more than ever, being an Alpha Delta Pi provides lifelong opportunities whether you are seeking a professional network for graduate school or a job, volunteer opportunities, or sisters to get to know in your local community.

As you leave your college experience behind, we hope this will not be the final chapter of your Alpha Delta Pi story. Our sisterhood has so much to offer you beyond graduation. Remember, you are always an Alpha Delta Pi. Now or 40 years from now, people will associate you with the oldest secret society for collegiate women. Wear your letters with pride and shine bright, no matter where your new adventure takes you.

Congratulations again on your graduation and welcome to Pi membership!

Update Your Contact Information

Please keep your contact information current via Pride Online as you move, change phone numbers, or email addresses. This will ensure you continue to stay informed and connected to ADPi!

Join the Alumnae Facebook Group

The Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Facebook group is an online community of more than 15,000 members. It provides a network of ADPi alumnae from all chapters to share resources and opportunities.

Read the Alumnae Chronicle & The Adelphean

The Alumnae Chronicle, a communication specifically for alumnae members, is sent via email each month to all alumnae members of ADPi. This Chronicle is filled with resources, training opportunities, and alumnae membership highlights. As an alumna, you will also continue to receive The Adelphean, ADPi’s official magazine, four times each year!

Volunteer

Visit the Volunteer page on Pride Online to express interest and learn about opportunities to engage as a volunteer. Alpha Delta Pi’s Volunteer Engagement Specialist, Ali Cartwright, can also answer any questions you might have regarding volunteer opportunities across the organization.

Join an Alumnae Association

Did you know there are more than 150 Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Associations across the country? Build your network, find professional mentors, and get to know other Alpha Delta Pi members living near you by joining an association! Membership dues average to be $25-$40 annually but your first year is FREE! Through your membership, you will meet sisters from different chapters who are involved in their communities and want to support you as you enter this next chapter. Local Alumnae Association events are often similar to the sisterhood events you attended in college, whether it is a happy hour, a dinner club, holiday parties, a Founders’ Day celebration, or volunteering as a group at your local Ronald McDonald House or other philanthropic events. Chapter Alumnae Associations allow sisters to connect back to their chapter of initiation from anywhere in the world. While they occasionally plan in-person activities, they also provide opportunities for fun and connection with sisters. Find an association near you!

As you prepare to begin your professional career or consider a certain field or graduate program, take a few minutes to engage with resources from members on industry-specific panel discussions (recorded in Spring 2020). Alpha Delta Pi is a powerful network of women – including more than 200,000 alumnae – and they are excited to share more with you regarding their career paths and experiences. View the sessions on Pride Online.

ReMember Dues

As an alumna, you will have an opportunity to support the collegiate and alumnae membership experience by paying your annual ReMember Dues of $30 or more. You are a lifetime member of Alpha Delta Pi and did pay an initiation fee as part of your lifetime membership. Our 200,000+ alumnae now account for more than 90% of our sisterhood but contribute to merely 1-2% of our operating funds. Each year our alumnae membership grows, as does the cost of providing alumnae services. ReMember Dues allow us to continue to provide services to enhance the membership experience for both collegiate and alumnae members.

ReMember Dues are different from Alumnae Association Dues and donations to the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation.

  • Alumnae Association (AA) dues are set by each individual association and fund the operations of the association. The AA President or Treasurer can provide you with more details specific to what your dues cover.
  • Donations to the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation are critical to achieving our philanthropic goals that support scholarship, leadership development, the Ronald McDonald House, and sisters in need. IRS guidelines define how tax-deductible gifts to the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation can be used.
  • ReMember Dues enable the sorority to invest in operational resources such as technology development, marketing/public relations, and membership materials and support for chapters and associations.

Alpha Delta Pi Foundation

Your support helps us Educate, Lead, and Serve our sisterhood. Whether you give to programs combating hazing and sexual assault, educational opportunities in mental wellness, scholarships, leadership and education programs, emergency grants, the Ronald McDonald House Charities Endowment, or an educational housing fund, a gift to the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation supports sisters around the world.

When Help is Needed

The Clasped Hands Fund Grant provides emergency financial assistance to alumnae who find themselves in financial distress. Need and circumstances determine the amount of each grant.

Apply for Graduate Scholarships

Apply for graduate scholarships through the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. Our support of your education doesn’t end after four years. The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation offers scholarships for sisters who are pursuing graduate degrees or returning to school for continuing education. Learn more on the ADPi Foundation website. The Foundation for Fraternal Excellence (FFE) also offers graduate and professional school fellowships to initiated members of NIC, NPC, NPHC, and PFA member fraternities and sororities. Your local alumnae Panhellenic organization may also offer scholarships as well (be sure to check both your hometown and school area).

Visit the Resources section of Pride Online frequently to access resources that will be helpful to you as an alumna member. Training and resources on topics ranging from personal wellness to trends in higher education can be found here!
